Vicki brings a wealth of experience as a company director, with responsibility for finance, accounts, and the continuous operational administration of a business. She combines strong commercial insight with a hands-on approach to operational leadership, making her a valuable addition to the team as the company continues to grow. Alongside her corporate background, Vicki is an experienced HCPC Registered Paramedic, bringing a unique perspective to the company, shaped by her work in a high-pressure, critical decision-making environment.

Medical Officer
MBChB, MRCGP, CCFP, DipIMC RCSEd
Dr Dan Leach serves as Medical Officer to APR Risks, bringing a rare blend of frontline clinical expertise and operational experience to our specialist protection and medical support services. His background spans General Practice and Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine, with a career focused on delivering expert care to patients precisely when and where it is needed most.
He has extensive experience in pre-hospital and remote medicine, including wilderness and remote expedition medicine, mountain rescue, and motorsport medicine with British Superbikes and MotoGP. Dr Leach has worked with leading UK organisations such as HEMS and BASICS, responding to complex emergencies from dense urban environments to remote mountain terrain.
Internationally, he has served as a consultant in aeromedical retrieval with the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Australia, gaining significant experience in long-range, high-acuity transport and complex mission planning. He also dedicates time to healthcare development projects in Zanzibar and mainland Tanzania, working with the Ministry of Health to improve trauma care and build effective pre-hospital networks.
A former Aeronautical Engineer in the Royal Air Force, Dr Leach applies engineering discipline and systems thinking to modern healthcare and operational medicine. He is also a strong advocate for diversity within medicine, championing inclusive, high-performing teams that think clearly under pressure and operate with confident humility.
